Easter Egg Basket - Silhouette Cameo Project

I cut out my basket using paper and my Silhouette Cameo machine. Then glued down a floral foam piece. This will let me stick my eggs in so they will be propped up above the basket & sit still. Next added some pink & white paper curls instead of grass...lol

I put all my handmade Easter eggs in the basket added some silly pencil craft I bought at Michael's and there it is, My Easter Basket!

55 yr old Funny T-shirt - Silhouette Cameo

This was supposed to be a great surprise for one of my best friends for her 55th bday. I'm not happy with either shirt & not sure which one is worse, so I threw the towel in & made her a nice hand towel to go with a shitty attempt at a funny shirt...lol
For my record at what NOT to do next time:
The first shirt I printed my design using Silhouette light transfer material. My epson printer decided it wasn't going to cooperate & gave me fits by drawing lines thru the images. After cleaning the print heads countless times to the extent of buying more ink, it still isn't working!!!
Ok. So second attempt, different way:
The second shirt I used red glitter transfer, black transfer & printed the nickels on light transfer which came out way too dark because I had to print it 2x to get rid of the lines..ugh... But yet again my epson printer is having problems. Maybe it's time for a new printer...?
Everything was frustrating to say the least with this project & I'm not happy with either. I need to do more research definitely! ...wah wah wah...lol

Monogram New born onesie - Silhouette Cameo

Lovin' my Silhouette Cameo! Here's how I created this monogram on a newborn onesie using the Silhouette design program.

1.  Select text tool, with the agency fb font.

2. The first and third letters are aprox  .85 x 2", and the center (last name) .9 x 2.5" (w x h).

3. Select all three letters using the shift & clicking each letter. Or drag a select box over all letters from right to left. Then Mirror all the letters to the right (or left). Make sure you move the original off the cutting  mat area. Then go to the setup to cut screen.

4. Set to cut heat transfer FLOCKED material. Blade needs to be on the 3.

5. Select transfer material. I liked the royal blue flocked material on the yellow onesie, it sure does pop out.

6. Insert flocked material with the clear plastic side down. You want the blade to cut into the soft side of the material.

7. Send design to silhouette cutter.

8. Heat iron to high no steam. Place cut out monogram design in desired spot, then place a press cloth on top & press & hold with iron aprox. 40-60 seconds.

9. Allow to cool slightly. Carefully peel back plastic making sure design sticks to material. If not cover with press cloth & repeat #8.

10. Ready to be washed! Great gift for my girl friend & her new baby.

Christmas ornament high school mascot - Silhouette cameo vinyl project

We have a few firsts & lasts this year at school. My oldest girl is a Senior, and the other two kids are Freshman, all in high school. I had to mark this momentous time in our lives. Of course, I love that my silhouette helps with all my creative needs. I picked ornaments according to each kid's high school mascot. Yes, they are at two different schools...lol

This was super simple & quick. Measure area on ornament to be labeled. Type info in silhouette & cut out in vinyl. Use transfer tape & apply to ornament. Done!

Serious crafter sign - Silhouette cameo project

Yup, I'm paper crafting again.

One of my best friends love crafting & scrapping, so much so, she built a building behind her house for all her crafting stuff. I figured she might need some new decor, something she can chuckle about and a warning for all that enter...lol!

Baby Boy handmade card - Silhouette cameo

(gift bags)

(front of card)

(inside of card)

I used my fabulous Silhouette Cameo machine to create this Baby Boy onsie laundry card by Lori Whitlock for a baby shower present. Had to change it up a bit and add a little "girl bling" with the bow. Love girly stuff! sorry...lol

Silhouette Cameo, 3d pinch top gift box

I call this a cute little pinch box, it was the perfect size to put a black & gold rhinestone bracelet I purchased from MJ's on Metairie Road. Perfect gift for my friend's birthday present since football season is upon us, here in Nola, Saints fans want anything they can proudly wear to show support for our boys.  I didn't have time to make the flower so I put a tiny bow, worked out well for my friend's gift. She loved it cause I hand made it for her. :o)

Silhouette Cameo 3d pinch top gift box fleur de lis

Created this 3d pinch top box with my fabulous Silhouette Cameo machine. I got my sister a unique Snowball Pendant from MJ's Gifts on Metairie Road, and needed the perfect gift box for it.

House Rules Wall Art created with Silhouette cameo

Great reminders for kids & teens! It's always better when you indirectly tell them how they should behave...lol...Created the design using my Silhouette Designer software. Used a piece of 9x11 pre-cut foam board that I purchased from Michael's craft store w/40% coupon of course. I then cut black vinyl letters with the machine, removed black background so just letters remain,  stuck transfer material on top letters, peeled away & placed on foam board, framed & finished!
Super fun, fast & inspiring.
